The Al-Kasar town centre is only a 15 minute walk along a beautiful palm-lined avenue (and still within the gated confines of the complex). This is the central hub of Condado de Alhama, which is beautifully illuminated in the evening. You will find a well-stocked supermarket, a gymnasium, beauty salon and a good variety of restaurants and coffee bars.

For golf enthusiasts the resort has the Jack Nicklaus Alhama Signature Championship Course with its excellent practice facilities, driving range, clubhouse with pro shop and snack bar. Golf clubs and buggies can be hired, making the resort an ideal golfing retreat.

From the traditional Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia, a short drive away, you will find the gateway to the Sierra Espuña Nature Park where you can enjoy fabulous walks, rock-climbing and cycling. There are also several local markets in the area which are very popular with the locals and tourists alike:- Sunday in Puerto de Mazarrón, Tuesday in Alhama de Murcia, Wednesday in Totana, Thursday in San Javier and Saturdays in Mazarrón and Fuente Alamo. There are miles of fabulous beaches within a 30 minute drive and a lovely marina with numerous seafront bars and restaurants at Puerta de Mazarron.
