We welcome you to our lovely modern ground floor apartment on the relaxing and luxury golf resort of Condado de Alhama in a quiet and tranquil part of Murcia in Spain.
Our apartment is perfect for small families, couples or a small group of friends and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay and for those odd items our property management company will source them prior to your arrival to enable you to fully enjoy your time in the sun. There is an excellent fully equipped kitchen, lounge with tv, and a garden patio area outside overlooking the large communal pool. At night time the pool lights up beautifully to become the main focal point of the garden amidst the sounds of the crickets and the sweet aroma of the flowers to which no picture can capture.
Our accommodation includes a double bedroom, a twin room and a single room with an extra pull out bed. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with plenty of hangers storage and clean linen is provided. The modern bathroom has an over bath shower and bidet. Outside the main bedroom there is also a rear patio area for enjoying those long warm nights with a bottle or two of wine.
There is ample parking spaces for the apartment, and the whole complex is gated and patrolled by security guards for peace of mind. The resort has safe cycleways around, and is ideal for young families. There is bike hire available on the resort at various outlets at very reasonable rates.
A short walk away is the onsite town centre ‘Al Kasar’ with a well stocked supermarket, a British / Irish themed pub (Clover), and restaurants La Copo (Spanish),Sofia, Sky Bistro, Big G American diner, El Rincon(Spanish).
The resort also has tennis courts, paddle courts, basketball courts and football pitches, café bar, and restaurant situated at The Condado Club located between Jardine 5&7. large supermarket and several bars/restaurants within the commercial centre of Al Kasar.
Condado de Alhama Golf
The Jack Nicklaus Alhama Signature Course at Condado de Alhama is located a ten minute walk away between Penthouses 7 and 8. The Championship Course is an 18 hole, 6884m, par 72 and an exciting challenge for golfers of all levels. The Club House is fully equipped with a restaurant and bar serving meals, snacks and drinks.
The Pro Shop is well stocked with everything that a golfer needs and has a rental service for clubs, buggies and trolleys. Practice facilities include the driving range with pitching area and putting green. On-site there is an active Golf Society, which welcomes holiday players.
The Murcia region
The Costa Calida (warm coast) is the perfect base to explore the unspoilt surrounding areas and sample the fantastic local foods and wine. With the 250kms of coastline there is always another sandy cove to retreat to or you can experience the only interior sea in Europe with the medicinal, warm gentle waters of the Mar Menor.
Mazarron is a 15/20 minute drive away and has wonderful unspoilt beaches. There is also a marina at “Puerta de Mazarron” with many boats for those of a nautical disposition. There are many superb bars and restaurants, some of course specialising in sea foods. Water sports are available if you feel energetic or just laze on the palm fringed beaches. Bolnuevo is just south of Mazarron, with its amazing rock formations and lazy beach life.
The “Sierra Espuna” national park is a 15 minute drive away, this is an area of unspoilt natural beauty, very popular with walkers/hikers and has stunning scenery & views. Alhama is a typical Spanish town at the foot of this national park where you can sample the Spanish way of life and experiment with the local foods and wine.
The ‘Terra Natura Wildlife park and Water park’ is approximately 35 minute drive away. Here you can discover the ‘Zooimmersion’ experience where you can see more than 300 animals! Then from May to September Aqua Natura, the only water park in the Murcia region, offers pools for adults and children, slides, soft tracks, kamikazes, lazy river, animations and games, or the exclusivity of a swim with a sea lion making this one of the absolute ‘musts’ for anyone visiting Murcia and the Costa Calida.
