The traditional Spanish town of Puerto de Mazarron is the nearest seaside town just 30 minutes away. It has fantastic beaches, a beautiful vibrant waterfront and many restaurants, bars and shops. The region’s capital city of Murcia contains a Zoo and a Water Park which offer excellent family days out.

The city of Alhama de Murcia is just a short drive away with its interesting Moorish history and from where you can access the Sierra Espuna Nature Park with its fabulous walks, rock-climbing and cycling trails. There are also several local markets in the area which are very popular with the locals and tourists alike:- Sunday in Puerto de Mazarron, Tuesday in Alhama de Murcia, Wednesday in Totana, Saturdays in Mazarron and Fuente Alamo.
