Luxury ground-floor air-conditioned/heated apartment is situated in Jardín 3, It is beautifully furnished throughout to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for your holiday. There is a well-equipped kitchen for all your catering requirements. The master bedroom has its own sun terrace and all rooms have built-in double wardrobes with drawers for adequate storage. Linen and towels are provided. There is 100Mb WiFi included if you wish to take your ipad/tabloid/laptop.

Relax on the sun terrace/garden where there is  furnishing for your al fresco living and dining complete with a large awning for those who like to sit in the shade. The large pool is just outside the apartment with a safe section for younger children. In the gardens next to the pool there is play equipment for younger children. In the evening the gardens and pool are illuminated.

A short walk from the apartment between Jardine 5&7 you will find the Condado Club Sports centre with its own bar/restaurant. The centre offers gym facilities as well as floodlit tennis, paddle, tennis, basketball and 5 aside football courts. The town centre called Al Kasar is a twenty minute stroll away along the main jacaranda tree lined boulevard where you will find a well-stocked supermarket and a good variety of bars and restaurants.

For golf enthusiasts the resort has the Par 72 6884m Alhama Signature Championship Course designed by Jack Nicklaus with its excellent practice facilities, driving range, clubhouse with pro shop and snack bar. Golf clubs and buggies can be hired, making the resort an ideal golfing retreat.

The Murcia region

The Costa Calida means Warm Coast and comprises of approximately 250 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline located in the province of Murcia with heavenly beaches of endless white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water, more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and mild temperatures even in winter with a yearly average of more than 20ºC.

There are an abundance of excellent restaurants to sample the fine Murcian cuisine. The local diet is big on rice, fruit, vegetables and pulses as well as seafood and white meats. The area is known as la Huerta, Spain’s market garden. Wheat, olives and vines produce the finest bread, olives and wine. There are fig and almond trees galore and orange, lemon and olive groves everywhere.

The city of Alhama de Murcia is just a short drive away. Al-hama, meaning hot springs in Arabic. The most interesting corner of Alhama is in Plaza Vieja, at the foot of the ruined castle, which was originally a watchtower built by the Moors. Try visiting the interesting Los Baños archaeological centre, with its Arabic hot baths, located opposite the church of San Lázaro. At Alhama you will find the gateway to the Sierra Espuña Nature Park where you can enjoy fabulous walks, rockclimbing and cycling. The more adventurous may like to try horse riding or paragliding.

Nearby is Cartagena which has a natural harbour. The port is rich in ancient and maritime history. The town is walled, the harbour defended by forts, and Roman ruins are scattered throughout. Explore the remarkable Roman Theatre dating from the 1st century BC. Take a tour on the Barco Turístico (Tourist Catamaran) and learn about the history of the harbour, its forts, local stories and legends.

Murcia City is home to the beautiful Cathedral de Santa Maria located at the plaza del Cardinal Belluga. Right outside the Cathedral you will find the city hall and the Palacia Episcopal, the residency of the Bishop of Murcia. There are a variety of museums, from the archeological to the museum for water systems, to the museo de bellas Artes which shows art from Ballester and Gaya amongst others.

Aqua Natura Murcia is a fabulous water park covering a total area of 30,000 m2. It is known as Zanzibar and aims to recreate the Indian Ocean island of the same name. The park is an ideal choice for a fabulous day out for both adults and children. Accessed via the A7 motorway and the main Murcia road.

Terra Natura Murcia is another excellent place for children and adults alike. A new generation wildlife park divided into two themed areas – the African Savannah and the Iberian Peninsula. Visitors can see more than 300 animals from 50 different species, with over 500 examples of more than 50 species of trees, shrubs and plants. There is a range of shows, entertainment and adventure activities to add to your enjoyment. Also there is a water park and entry to both is on the same ticket so a full day can be had by all.

All Rental properties have electric meters connected to the Air con. To keep the properties economical a reading will be taken on arrival and again on Departure. The first €10 is included in your stay, anything over this €10 is pay as you go.
