The Al-Kasar town centre is only a 15 minute walk along a beautiful palm-lined avenue (and still within the gated confines of the complex). This is the central hub of Condado de Alhama, which is beautifully illuminated in the evening. You will find a well-stocked supermarket and a good variety of restaurants and coffee bars.

For golf enthusiasts the resort has the Par 72 6884m Alhama Signature Championship Course designed by Jack Nicklaus with its excellent practice facilities, driving range, clubhouse with pro shop and snack bar. Golf clubs and buggies can be hired, making the resort an ideal golfing retreat.

The Costa Calida (warm coast) is the perfect base to explore the unspoilt surrounding areas and sample the fantastic local foods and wine. With the 250kms of coastline there is always another sandy cove to retreat to.

Mazarron is a 15/20 minute drive away and has wonderful unspoilt beaches. There is also a marina at “Puerta de Mazarron” with many boats for those of a nautical disposition. There are many superb bars and restaurants, some of course specialising in sea foods. Water sports are available if you feel energetic or just laze on the palm fringed beaches. Bolnuevo is just south of Mazarron, with its amazing rock formations and lazy beach life.
