The “Sierra Espuna” national park is a 15 minute drive away, this is an area of unspoilt natural beauty, very popular with walkers/hikers and cyclists with stunning scenery & views. Alhama is a typical Spanish town at the foot of this national park where you can sample the Spanish way of life and experiment with the local foods and wine. Murcia city offers historic cathedrals and museums and a waterpark and zoo.
